Ochuwa Yusuff is a fashion designer and the founder of the sustainable fashion brand, RVMPD (revamped). RVMPD is focused on reducing fast fashion and amplifying sustainable fashion across Africa. We are passionate about reducing fashion waste and promoting ethical fashion practices through the upcycling of preexisting fabrics into unique, limited pieces of wearable art. At RVMPD, we believe that fashion should not come at the expense of the environment, and that is why we have developed a business model that seeks to reduce the negative impact of fast fashion on the environment and generate revenue by selling the pieces we make from these fabric scraps and pre-used textiles. Every RVMPD piece is 1-of-1 and upcycled to suit unique personalities, fashion tastes, and styles.
