My name is Hayford, a 28 year old native of Ghana and a creative pencil artist. My creative process as a pencil artist begins with observation. I carefully study my subject, paying close attention to details and expressions. I started creative arts because I was born into a home of artists. I was taught by my father at a very tender age and that is what moulded my talent. As a pencil artist, while a pencil is relatively a simple tool, my versatility with a pencil is unmatched. I can create everything, from a highly detailed photos, to expressive African nature arts. My unique skill in controlling weight, shading, and texture brings out realism and artistic expressions in ways that stand out. I do art classes for kids aged 6 to 12 years in my community aiming to help mould their artistic talents in every way possible. The bigger goal is to have an academy that seeks to train you people and even adults who seek to learn and master pencil art which can serve as a means of employment for them.
