My name is Daniel Adu Darko from Ghana. I graduated with Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing option from the All Nations University, Ghana. In high school, I wanted to make a name for myself, not just a name but I wanted to prove my worth with a talent. I decided to go into footwear making. As a footwear designer, my creative process begins with exploring trends, materials, and unique inspirations from art, architecture, and nature. I sketch my ideas, focusing on innovative silhouettes that merge style and comfort. Each design is a blend of functionality and aesthetics, where I meticulously select materials that not only complement the design but also ensure durability and comfort. I aim to create footwear that tells a story, making every step feel special. My work is a reflection of my passion for detail, quality craftsmanship, and the pursuit of pushing the boundaries of footwear design. I’m very glad I took this path, looking at the opportunities it has given me, and also the exposure it has given me. The ultimate dream is to have a company in this country that produces the most quality footwears. That would also give me the opportunity to employ a lot of people and give them the opportunity to fend for themselves, taking into consideration the high unemployment levels in the country.
