Otim Nathan ( Eagle's Nest Art international) is visual artist who was born in the Eastern part of Uganda in a place called namatala.His passion for art started when he was in primary that's why he later pursue art as a course at university .he is an artist whose paintings are inspired by nature,his personal life and day today experience.he likes working with acrylic paint, charcoal and pencil to creat art.otim also uses his art to raise funds to support his community based organizations . The title of the painting is called joy. Joy is a painting that is inspired by the local women I see and meet in the market who sell fruits ,most of these women face lot of challenges to find ways to provide for their families but even in the midst of their struggles they have a contagious smile that will entice to buy from them. This painting is made to remind us that every fruit that we buy from them we bring a smile of hope(food,fees,among other essentials)at their family tables. Let's keep these Mama's smiling always.
