My name is Perry Worchie, and I’m the owner of Peretech Business Centre. I got into graphic design as a hobby while I was in university. Before that, I used to draw as a pastime, and that creative expression has naturally evolved into the work I do today. As I took on more projects and refined my skills, I realized that this could be more than just a hobby. The feedback from clients was overwhelmingly positive, and since I wasn’t employed at the time, I decided to pursue it as a career.
What I love most about graphic design and art is how it allows me to express myself. When I’m creating, I feel free and connected to my passion, which motivates me to keep going. My craft stands out because it’s heavily inspired by my imagination. I love blending different elements together and using subtle symbolism to give depth to the designs I produce.
At Peretech Business Centre, my main focus is meeting my clients’ needs while expressing art in a meaningful way. My business motto is to bridge the gap between the client’s imagination and reality. It’s a challenge I enjoy as I continue to grow and master my craft as a designer.
This artwork depicts a woman with a visible cracks running across her face, symbolizing the fractures caused by life's trials. Despite the crack, the portion that has broken off remains pristine, with vibrant skin tones unaltered, representing the strength and resilience that persist through hardship. In contrast, the rest of her face appears grayscale, slightly distorted, illustrating the wear and impact of life's struggles. The juxtaposition of the cracked yet intact part with the distorted sections conveys that no matter how challenging life becomes, a core part of one's true self remains whole and untouched. It serves as a profound reminder that hope is never truly lost, even through transitions and difficulties, and that resilience always prevails.
